The taxidermy capital of the world
La taxidermia es la disciplina de diseccionar animales con el fin de preservarlos como si estuvieran vivos y así facilitar su exhibición, estudio y conservación. Es una actividad muy diferente a cualquier otra y es practicada por un número muy reducido de personas en nuestro país, pero en la localidad toledana de Los Yébenes encontramos unos auténticos especialistas.
El pasado 26 de octubre, la taxidermia encontró un pequeño hueco en la televisión nacional, concretamente en La 2. Este canal no suele emitir y dar visibilidad al sector cinegético, pero los hermanos Garoz hicieron de este espacio un momento de aprendizaje y visibilización del oficio. En este fragmento del programa "Aquí hay trabajo" nos muestran el interior de su veterano taller, uno de los más antiguos del mundo, y nos cuentan un poco más sobre el trabajo que realizan.
