Cinegética+SCI 2025 kicks off: The big event for hunting and nature lovers
Madrid, March 20, 2025. The day has arrived. The twelfth edition of Cinegética+SCI 2025 opens its doors this Thursday, March 20, at 3:00 p.m., welcoming all hunting, nature, and conservation enthusiasts. As every year, this prestigious fair brings together experts, companies, and authorities from the sector in an essential event for the hunting world.
Inaugural ceremony with prominent personalities
The opening ceremony will take place at 5:00 p.m., featuring key figures such as Mr. Daniel Martínez, Executive Vice President of IFEMA, and Mr. Fernando Saiz Luca de Tena, President of Cinegética-SCI. Mr. Jesús Gálvez, Colonel-in-Chief of the ICAE (Spanish Institute of Agriculture and Fisheries), will also speak, along with representatives from the Community of Madrid, the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, and the Madrid City Council, led by its Mayor, Mr. José Luis Martínez-Almeida.
Among the attendees will be senior officials such as Mr. John McLauri, President of the SCI; Mr. Laird Hamberlin, CEO of the SCI; Mr. Josep Escandell, President of the RFEC; and Mr. Ignacio Higuero, Minister of Forest Management of Extremadura, among others.
A tour of the fair
After the official opening, authorities and attendees will be able to tour the various stands, including the Spanish ibex exhibition and the canine area, which will feature packs of hounds and conch-playing exhibitions. Other highlights include the stands of the RFEC, the Community of Madrid, and the SCI, among many others. Young Wild Hunters will be located at stand 711 with a grand raffle, and you can also try out the famous GAIM simulator.
Hunting+SCI 2025 Schedules
The fair will be open to the public starting today, Thursday, March 20th, at 3:00 PM. Tomorrow, Friday the 21st, and Saturday the 22nd, the opening hours will be from 10:30 AM to 8:30 PM, while on Sunday the 23rd, it will close at 3:00 PM.
