Here you have all the published dates of the 2022 half closed season by autonomous communities.

Andalusia

Working days: J, S, D and F of the first Sunday of the period from August 21 to September 25.

Almeria, Fri, Sat, Sat, Sun and Fri.

In the coastal area of Cadiz, every day from the first Sunday of the period from September 4 to 18.

Species: quail, pigeons (torcaz, bravía and zurita) and corvids. Rabbit: J, S, D and F from August 14 to November 27.

Aragón

Working days: in general from August 15 to September 21, a maximum of 17 days, to be specified by the owner of the preserve according to the Annual Hunting Plan.

Species: quail (15 August to third Sunday of September), wood pigeon and magpie (21 August to third Sunday of September), wild pigeon and its different breeds and varieties (1 September to third Sunday of September); mallard in the municipalities of Annex IV (15 August to third Sunday of September).

Asturias

Working days: J, D and F from August 14 to 31, exclusively in those reserves that request it.

Species: fox, wood pigeon and rock pigeon, black-headed gull, yellow-legged gull, spotted starling, magpie, crow and quail (quail only in Regional Preserves or Reserves with a sufficient population density for its hunting use).

Cantabria

Working days: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Fridays from August 21 to September 11. The working hours will be between 6:45 a.m. and 9:15 p.m.

Species: quail, magpie and black crow.

The maximum quota of birds to be shot will be 15 birds per hunter per day, considering all huntable bird species, with the exception of quail for which a maximum of 10 birds per hunter per day is established.

Castilla-La Mancha

Days of hunting: J, S, D and F from August 20 to September 21, quail until September 15, except in the agricultural regions of Serranía Alta in the province of Cuenca and Alcarria Baja in the province of Guadalajara, which will include for this species from August 27 to September 15.

Species: quail, wood pigeon, rock pigeon and wood pigeon.

Quota: Quail (10 per hunter/day in Albacete, Ciudad Real and Toledo; 20 per hunter/day in Cuenca and Guadalajara).

Castilla y León

Days and species: Tuesday, J, S, W, D and F from August 15 to September 18: quail, magpie, crow, rabbit and fox. From August 25 to September 18: wood pigeons and rock pigeons.

Quota: Quail, 25 specimens per hunter/day. Turtle dove quota 0, no hunting allowed.

Catalonia

It can only be practiced in the hunting grounds of special regime that have it approved in its PTGC. Working days: August 21 and 28, September 4 and 11. Lleida and counties of La Cerdanya and El Solsonès: from August 20 to September 11, on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Species: quail, wood pigeon, magpie, common starling and fox.

Valencian Community

Working days: J, S, D and F from August 21 to September 11.

Species: quail (jumping or in hand, as provided for in the technical plan of the enclosure), wood pigeon, rock pigeon, rock pigeon, common starling, magpie and fox. European turtle dove and stock dove are not allowed to be hunted this season.

Quota: 8 quails per hunter/day.

Extremadura

Days of hunting: S, D and F from August 15 to September 8 all species. Hours: 7:00 to 11:00 a.m., and from 5:00 p.m. (Extremadura extends the general order of hunting closures to the 2022/2023 season).

Species: quail in the modality of jumping, pigeons, starling, magpie, jackdaw, mallard and fox, only from fixed post. The use of lures is forbidden, except for foxes.

Quota: 10 quail and 15 wood pigeons per hunter per day. According to the Resolution of July 1, 2021 of the General Directorate of Forestry Policy of Extremadura, a zero quota is established for the collared dove.

Galicia

Days: S and D between August 13 and September 4, in the tecores of the former Antela lagoon and in the preserves of the municipalities listed in Annex III of its Order of closures.

Species: quail (quota 10 per hunter/day) and wood pigeon (quota 5 per hunter/day).

Balearic Islands

Mallorca

Days of hunting: J, D and F you can hunt with bow, shotgun and/or any breed of dogs and/or ferret. Tuesdays and S, only with podencos ibicencos, galgos and/or ferret. Falconry birds on M, W, W, F, S and D. Period: from August 21 until the opening of general small game hunting, October 12.

Species: quail, wood pigeon and rabbit. Hare only in the modalities of greyhounds and falconry. European turtledove, quota 0.

Ibiza

Menorca
Working days: S, D and F with shotgun and dog from August 21 until the opening of the general small game hunting, October 12. and Thursday only with dog.

Species: quail, wood pigeon, hare and rabbit. Hare only in the modalities of greyhounds and falconry. European turtledove, quota 0.

Canary Islands
El Hierro
From August 7 to November 27, rabbit with dog and ferret; from September 18 to November 76, brown partridge and rock pigeon with dog and shotgun, on Sundays September 19 and 26, and on Sundays September 18 and 25 and October 2, 9 and 16 common quail. Working days: Thursdays, Sundays and holidays (quail only on Sundays).

Species: rabbits (without shotgun), Moorish partridge, rock pigeon and quail. Quota: per hunter and day a maximum of five rabbits, five Moorish partridges, five quails and eight wild pigeons are authorized.

Per hunter per day, a maximum of five rabbits, five partridges, eight doves, five quails and no limit on feral animals.

Per hunting team per day a maximum of twelve rabbits, eight partridges and sixteen feral pigeons is authorized.

Fuerteventura
Days: hunting without gun and without capture with a pointing dog, Thursdays and Sundays from July 3 to September 7 and Sundays from August 14 to September 11, including Saturday, August 13. Hunting of rabbits with a fur dog, Moorish squirrel, rabbits and feral animals on Sundays from August 14 to 28; hunting with a fur dog and ferret for rabbits, Moorish squirrels and feral animals, Sundays from September 4 to October 9; hunting with a pointing dog and shotgun or bow for Moorish partridge, rock pigeon, Moorish squirrel and feral animals, Sundays from September 18 to October 9.

Species: Moorish partridge, rabbit, wild pigeon, Moorish squirrel and feral animals.

Gran Canaria
Working days: Thursdays and Sundays from August 14 to October 30 -rabbit with dog and ferret-. From September 18 to October 30 partridge, pigeon and feral animals with dog and shotgun.

Species: rabbit, red-legged partridge, feral pigeon and feral animals.

La Gomera
Working days: from August 7 to September 11, rabbit with dog and ferret on Sundays and Thursdays until 3:00 pm. Partridge with dog and without gun (M). All authorized species with dog and ferret and/or shotgun on Sundays until 3 p.m. between September 18 and November 13.

Species: rabbit, Moorish partridge, feral pigeon and feral animals.

Quota: four pieces with a maximum of 3 partridges and 3 rabbits.

Lanzarote
Working days: from August 7 to October 30, rabbit with hound dog and ferret.

Species: rabbit.

Quota: with hound and ferret, with or without shotgun, four rabbits (10 per team).

La Palma
Working days: J and D. Between August 7 and December 4, rabbit with dog, ferret and shotgun and feral pigeon with shotgun, not being authorized the hunting with ferret from October 23. From September 18 to November 13, partridge with dog and shotgun. From August 7 to December 4, feral pigeon with shotgun.

Species: rabbits, Moorish partridge, feral pigeon and feral animals.

Quota: five rabbits and three Moorish partridges per hunter per day; ten rabbits and five Moorish partridges per team (between three and five hunters) with a maximum of two shotguns. There is no quota for feral pigeons.

Tenerife
Days of hunting: J and D. From August 7 to November 13, rabbit with dog and ferret without shotgun. From August 7 to September 15, partridge with pointing dog without shotgun -with shotgun from September 18 to November 13, same period as for feral pigeons and feral animals-.

Species: rabbits, Moorish partridge, feral pigeon and feral animals.

Quota: four rabbits and two Moorish partridges per hunter per day; per team (between two and five hunters with a maximum of two shotguns) per day, ten rabbits and four Moorish partridges.


La Rioja
Days of hunting: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Fridays from August 15 to September 6. Wood pigeon: from August 20. Rabbit: from 15 August to 26 September.

Species: quail, wood pigeon, rabbit.


Madrid
Working days: J, S, D and F from August 15 to September 15. Woodpigeon and rock pigeon may be hunted from August 21 to September 15.

Species: wood pigeon, rock pigeon, common starling, magpie, jackdaw, crow and fox.

Quota: 10 quail per hunter per day. The common turtledove has a zero quota of captures. No hunting is allowed this season.


Murcia
Working days: Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Common quail, only jumping on the third and fourth Sunday of August.

Quota: 2 birds per hunter/day. Wood pigeon, rock pigeon, magpie and yellow-legged gull except closed area: from August 21 to September 11. Woodpigeon quota: 10 birds per hunter/day. European Turtle Dove: Hunting is prohibited this season.
