Can Walkstool be used in the sand?

Yes, the Walkstool can be used in sand. Since the Walkstool doesn't require oil or lubricants, it can be used in sand. The Walkstool Comfort models are equipped with large rubber feet, and for even greater stability in difficult conditions, we recommend using the Walkstool Steady accessory.

Are there instructions for the use and maintenance of the Walkstool?

To extend the Walkstool's legs, slowly pull them down until the red safety button is visible and locks into position. Once all three legs are locked in place, the Walkstool is ready to sit on. As with any three-legged stool, the correct way to sit on the Walkstool is with one of the three seating points between your legs (like sitting on a bicycle seat). To retract the Walkstool's legs, press the red safety button while pushing the Walkstool's legs toward the seat. Do not attempt to stand on the Walkstool; due to its three-legged design, it is not safe to stand on. As for maintenance, Walkstools never require oil or lubricants; they are designed to run dry. If your Walkstool becomes excessively dirty, you can remove the legs and wipe them with a clean, dry cloth. The legs can be removed by pressing the red safety button and pulling the legs out, once the legs are in the extended position.

Should I buy the Comfort model or the Basic model?

It depends on how often you use the Walkstool, where you use it, and how much money you want to spend. If you want the best in the world with maximum seat quality and comfort, you should choose a Comfort model based on your height and weight. If you're slim (40% larger than normal seat size), 45/18 and 55/22 might be the best option, although slim people also love the Comfort 65/26 if they're tall (80% larger than normal) due to its comfortable seat. On wet grass or in the woods, the Comfort is exceptional due to the larger rubber feet that minimize the risk of sinking. The Basic models have the same concept with telescopic aluminum legs and the same weight. The main differences are a smaller polyester seat and regular plastic feet. At the same time, it's about half the price, which means many people prefer to buy two Walkstool Basic models instead of one Comfort model. If you don't want to spend the money that Comfort models cost but want the concept with a telescopic function and a larger seat (20% larger) than regular 3-legged stools and good quality, then Walkstool Basic is a perfect choice.

What do I do if the bottom legs of the Walkstool tend to come off when I walk with the Walkstool attached to my body?

If you have one of the older Walkstool models (45 cm or 55 cm) or the Walkstool Basic, then there's nothing you need to do other than avoid having the Walkstool attached to your body with the lower legs facing down. If you have the Walkstool Comfort model with larger rubber feet, do the following: lock the lower legs when not in use by rotating the upper legs, and lock the lower legs by placing the rubber feet together. Newer Walkstool Comfort models also have a handy bag for storage and transport.
