All the models of the OFS family (Sarek OFS, Dovre OFS and Reisa OFS) have in common a series of design characteristics and materials focused on the health and well-being of the user, especially for those who for different reasons find themselves with problems when using traditional footwear, such as people with very wide feet, crossed toes, high insteps, with diabetes, with personalized orthopedic insoles, etc.
The development of this series has been done in conjunction with orthopedic specialists, taking into account orthopedic, anatomical and biomechanical concepts such as the following:
* ANATOMICAL LAST OFS: Own development together with experts in orthopedics and biomechanics. It allows a 100% anatomical fit, minimizing the risk of pressure, discomfort or friction. Its interior design/clearance allows the use of most custom orthotics.
* OFS ANATOMICAL INSOLE: Provides good support throughout the sole of the foot, accentuated in the shank. It can be replaced by most custom orthotics.
* ANATOMICAL FOAM: Anatomical sponges that adapt individually to each foot and that always recover their original shape. They provide comfort, eliminate pressure points and help fix and hold the foot inside the boot to avoid friction.
* ANTI-TORSION STABILITY AND SUPPORT: The use of an anti-torsion manufacturing insole in combination with a robust outsole provides security on varied terrain, while promoting a neutral footstep, providing extra stability with each step.
*ANTI-PRONATION SUPPORT: The incorporation of a special medial support gives lateral support to the shank and thus prevents pronation.
